Day 126 Negreira to Vilaserio another Rainy Day.

We decided yesterday that we aren’t walking in the rain anymore on this epic adventure. We are still trying to get over a mild cold and being soaked didn’t seem like the way to do it. So we took a cab. While it never is what we want we are happy with the adjustments that we have made throughout our journey.

We are staying in a 300 year old farm house. There are about 10 people staying here tonight. Lots of people came through for lunch. We have met pilgrims today from Ireland, Switzerland, US, Finland, Poland. Two women from the US Lori and Ruby had lunch with us and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing stories. They are from Indianapolis and have walked the Portuguese Camino.

Fireplace that you can climb in.

Tomorrow the weather is supposed to improve, though we heard from Mia, who is walking back to Santiago de Compostela that we will encounter two flooded areas because of all the rain. Always an adventure!! Splashing through the floods we will.

I think this fig tree might be 300 years old too. New trees growing everywhere.
