We started out this morning from Santiago de Compostela a little later than usual. We had an English Breakfast something Noël has been craving for weeks!! It was delicious!

We set out in the pouring rain. It has been raining for at least a week. Locals keep telling us this isn’t normal. Oh well.

We took turns leading the rain parade today; through the puddles, mud, over the eucalyptus leaves and bark, limbs downed by the weather. The wind added an element… every time we got under the trees hoping for a little relief the wind picked up and blew all the rain on us.

After 7 kms and soaked to the bone it was time to end the Rain parade. We called for a cab and made it to Negreira. It was another sensible decision. Some people may not understand this and that’s okay. We are happy with this decision and very humbled and happy about our amazing journey.

We will try the 13 kms tomorrow. But we know we have options. Monday the sun is supposed to shine again. Yay!!!!
Buen Camimo. Ultreia!!
