Wow where has the year gone? Oh yeah, packing, planning, traveling and going into early retirement!!

As many of you know we start out 2 January from Terneuzen to hike 2500kms/1500 miles. We are headed to Santiago de Compostela and then on to Finisterra and Muxia. We invite you to follow our journey here and also in Polarsteps app. We are also opening a Gofundme in order to raise awareness to cancer research. Stay tuned.

Today was momentous because we handed over the keys to the house. It’s final we are nomads. We feel so fortunate to get to be able to go on this journey. And want to thank our families and friends for their support, love, encouragement and even questions about our sanity.

After handing over the keys we had a quick coffee with Lindsay before catching a bus and a train to Amsterdam. Tomorrow we head to Texas for some family time.
