There were only a few hiccups yesterday with our travel. And we made it to our hotel. We had enough food left over from our breakfast that we had lunch and dinner.

My night’s sleep was disturbed by strange dreams and restlessness. So maybe sleep on the plane? Doubtful but maybe.

Well we are off to a great start this morning. I had my Apple Watch on the charger and when Noël was putting cables together it must have fallen off. My Apple Watch was left at the hotel. We rode the shuttle to the airport and back. While on the way back Noël called the hotel and they had someone look for it so when we got back they had it waiting for us. And they didn’t make us pay for the shuttle again. And we were only 30 minutes later than originally planned.

When we were checking our bags my passport was rejected not once, twice, three times but four. The very patient klm worker got it to work. Whew.

A little rest and relaxation in the klm lounge was a nice treat. Our flight was delayed by 30 minutes, which meant that we were not in a hurry to get to the gate. But as we arrived at the gate for the start of boarding time the display read, “Gate Closing”.

Long flight but we made it. More to come.
