Day 63 At the end of the end
It’s the start of a journey
To a much better place And this wasn’t bad So a much better place Would have to be special No need to be sad
On the day that I die I’d like jokes to be told
And stories of old to be rolled out like carpets That children have played on
And laid on while listening to stories of old
At the end of the end
It’s the start of a journey To a much better place And a much better place Would have to be special No reason to cry
On the day that I die I’d like bells to be rung And songs that were sung to be hung out like blankets
That lovers have played on
And laid on while listening to songs that were sung
Paul McCartney – The End Of The End
So I have to say this is one of my favorite songs.

We all know that journeys/trips come to an end and even the journey of life has some sort of ending even if you believe in heaven or everlasting life. There is a conclusion to this earthly journey.

Paul McCartney does a good job of expressing a life well lived. And a journey well taken. If you haven’t heard this song I highly recommend looking it up and giving it a listen. But more than that taking the time to reflect and enjoy and live each day fully. And know that we are all on a journey and even with death that journey does not end…but
It’s the start of a journey
To a much better place And this wasn’t bad So a much better place Would have to be special No need to be sad…”
